I don't think that there are a lot of movies made like Clue anymore, a total farce. And this one had three endings. I think when it played in the theatre, it was random as to which ending was shipped to each theatre and played. Since I had the home version, I got to see all three. Great cast. Lots of funny bits for sure. Tim Curry is great in his role as Wadsworth the butler. Definitely worth a watch just for the cavalcade of stars.

Extinction
To All the Boys I've Loved Before
Alice thought we might like this movie. I generally like Tween movies. This one was ok at best. It follows the story of a girl whose little sister mails five "crush"letters that she had never intended to send. Hilarity (ok, amusement) ensues. And a tear or two. Not great, but fun if you like tween romance.

Ready Player One
Steven Spielberg has made some great movies. This was not one of them. It was good, not great. Fun, not funtastic (sic). Maybe it would have been better on the big screen. Or even better, on the big screen in 3d. But I missed that opportunity. On the little screen, it was, well, just another science fiction movie. Better writing than many. And it had Simon Pegg in it - who I really like. He and Martin Freeman are doing a lot of great work! (Not that Martin was in this movie - just an observation) Crazy computer wiz develops the next thing after the internet and evil corporations want to hijack it. There is a competition to get control of the network - upstarts (kids) vs the establishment/corporations. Some great animation. Some fun script points. But not his best work to date. Maybe even Empire of the Sun is better...Still worth a watch!
I learned (though I ought to have known) that I could copy and paste graphics I find on the internet rather than downloading them and uploading them. Sigh.

Mechanic: Resurrection
Jason Statham reprises his role in a pretty silly movie. Just an excuse for Jason to be an action hero. Michelle Yeoh was way under utilized. As was Jessica Alba - though she did do a teeny bit of butt kicking herself. The basic story was that the hero is minding his own business and an ex-"friend" forces him to do some assassinations. Go team. Rah. It was fun in a silly way.
