Flight of Eagles - book

I have heard of other books written by Jack Higgins. And I think I have read seen a movie or two made from his books. I hadn't realized that when I picked up the book. This story seemed fairly contrived. The story of twins who fought on separate sides of world war two. It also felt very dry. But that could be because he is a British author. If you are a fan of the author, or World War II, then this might be a good book for you.
