Dick Francis sure can write a compelling story. Not my favorite author. But still, some good books. This was another. I have no idea what the title has to do with anything. The story follows a jockey (big surprise) who is also a photographer as he tries to figure out some problems that have appeared in his life: a dead photographer who was also a blackmailer, a missing hitherto unknown sister and an owner who wants him to throw the occasional race...All in all, a page turned that is good for anyone who likes thrillers or mysteries or horses or photographers or Dick Francis.
